Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice and takedown procedure

Overview

Pounce respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on pouncealert.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice using the process described below. We will respond to valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, provide the following information in writing:

  1. Your full legal name and contact information (email address, mailing address, phone number).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The specific URL(s) on pouncealert.com where the allegedly infringing material is located.
  4. A description of how the material infringes your copyright.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address. Your counter-notice must include your name, address, phone number, the URL of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of federal court.

Repeat Infringers

Pounce will terminate access for users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.
